Adding new sites
You can add sites to an initial application from the Medicines Information dataset, Part G (Investigator Details).
If your project is single centre, select 'Principal Investigator' at question G1, and enter the details of the site there.
If your project is multicentre, select 'National Coordinating Centre' at question G1 and enter details of the Chief Investigator / National Coordinating Investigator there. Selecting this option will activate a new button labelled 'Add Investigator'.
Select 'Add Investigator' to add participating sites to the project and fill in the site information into the fields that appear. You can add as many participating sites as you need to by selecting 'Add Investigator' for each site.
You enter the site address details as free text. Remember that the information you add here should be for the host organisation. For example, in the case of an NHS hospital this would be the Trust or Board responsible for that site, so may be different to the actual location at which the research will take place.
To add new sites to an ongoing study, follow the process for submitting an amendment. Visit the Amendments page for more information.
