Submission of final report
Once you have notified the End of Trial (EOT) to the REC, you should submit the final report within 12 months (or 6 months for paediatric trials) of the study end date.
Go to 'My Studies - My Projects' and open the project you wish to submit a report for.
Select the 'Reporting' button from the top right side of the screen.
You should then select the type of report you wish to make from the list. In this case select 'Final Report'.
After selecting that you will then need to work through the dataset and complete each field. You can refer to the guidance provided at each question in the system if you need to. Once you've completed the report you should select 'Save and verify' . This will send the final report to the REC.
If you have completed all the fields in the report and have selected 'Save and verify' then the status of the report will change to, and remain as, 'Content verified' when it has been successfully submitted.
The lay summary of results, provided in the Final Report, is published alongside the rest of the research summary on the HRA website.
